$21.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Job Overview:

This position will work in the kitchen with the cooks to serve 3 meals per day to residents. The Dietary Aide works as part of a team to assemble meals for tray service to resident rooms and to serve meals from a station in the dining room. The Dietary Aide also helps maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.

General Responsibilities:
  • Help prepare and serve meals for patients and staff in accordance with menus, diet specifications, and sanitary practices.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness:
    • Clean and maintain dining room during and after each meal service.
    • Wash dishes.
    • Stock food and other supplies for the main kitchen and resident units if applicable.
    • Interact with other department staff, patients, and patients’ families.
General Qualifications:
  • Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
  • Maintains a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule helpful.
  • Must comply with any dress code requirements.
  • Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
  • Background checks will be completed prior to employment.
  • Requirements for this facility are: TB test and Physical within the last year, and HEP B Shot, Covid Vaccination.
