Job summary

York Post Acute is hiring a Dietary Aide to support the dietary team in a 80-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility, ensuring residents receive nutritious, safely prepared meals in a clean, welcoming environment.

This full-time role offers $15/hour with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Marquis Health Consulting Services’ supportive network. You will work in a fast-paced setting with a team that values passion, respect, and excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior experience in food preparation or food service strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents served.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, plating, and meal service to residents in a timely, safe, and respectful manner.
• Support the delivery of meals by ensuring residents receive appropriate dietary selections in accordance with prescribed nutritional guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and food service spaces in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Follow all dietary guidelines, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements related to food safety, nutrition, and resident care.
• Work collaboratively as a team player, contributing wherever needed to support meal service and kitchen operations.
• Provide courteous, respectful interactions with residents during meal service to promote a positive dining experience.

Education
