Job summary

Exton Post Acute is seeking a Dietary Aide for a full-time role at our 120-bed facility. The position pays $17 an hour and focuses on preparing and serving nutritious meals in a clean, safe dining environment, while following dietary guidelines and patient care standards.

As part of the dietary team, you will support meal service, assist with plating, and ensure residents receive the right dietary selections, maintaining timely service and a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior experience in food preparation or food service strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to age-related needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, plating, and meal service to residents in a timely, safe, and respectful manner.
• Support the delivery of meals by ensuring residents receive appropriate dietary selections in accordance with prescribed nutritional guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and food service spaces in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Follow all dietary guidelines, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements related to food safety, nutrition, and resident care.
• Work collaboratively as a team player, contributing wherever needed to support meal service and kitchen operations.
• Provide courteous, respectful interactions with residents during meal service to promote a positive dining experience.
