Job summary

Terraces at Summitview, a HumanGood community in Yakima, WA, is seeking a Part-Time Food Service Aide to provide dining service to residents and guests in the assisted living and skilled care center. You will set up, serve meals, and help ensure timely delivery in a warm, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include preparing trays, following menus and therapeutic diet orders, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, restocking supplies, and helping with routine cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for entry.
• Minimum of 6 months of related experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification and/or Food Handlers certification preferred.

Description

Provides food and tray delivery to the assisted living and/or skilled care center residents. Sets up and cleans dining room, maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assures timely meal delivery and plate preparation.

Schedule: Part-Time; Monday-Friday from 4:30pm-7:30pm

Work Duties

• Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Restocks supplies as needed.
• Follows all policies and procedures relating to food service to meet or exceed community standards.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school Level diploma or equivalent knowledge is a prerequisite for entry into profession.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in related field preferred.
• ServSafe certification and/or Food Handlers Certification or enrollment in the certification course preferred.
