Job summary

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Dietary Assistant to support our dietary team. You will help prepare meals, set up dining rooms, serve residents, and assist with cleaning and organization to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

The role requires English literacy, physical stamina, and weekend availability. Computer skills are beneficial, and the team emphasizes teamwork and respectful resident care.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Computer skills are a plus.

Join our dynamic dietary team at Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Dietary Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents receive quality meals and excellent service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preparatory work for meals, including setting up dining rooms.
• Set up food trays with condiments, napkins, juices, milk, and other items.
• Serve meals to residents and pour beverages as needed.
• Clear trays and dishes and reset dining rooms.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen and storage areas.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Computer skills are a plus.
• Flexible availability.
• Must be able to work weekends.
