Job summary

Crown Point Health Campus is seeking dedicated Dietary Aides to join our team for full-time and part-time opportunities. You will help with meal service, food presentation, and basic kitchen tasks to support residents and guests.

A focus on accurate portion control, timely service, and customer-friendly interactions is essential. Required weekend availability, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and visually appealing.
• Assist in serving meals on a timely basis.
• Serve food according to portion control procedures.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties per policies.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining room areas.
• Assist cooks in meal preparation.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed.

Dietary Aide Duties:

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Setup meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
• Assist cook in preparing meals.
• Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.

Dietary Aide must have the following:

• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
