Job summary

Laurel Bay Health and Rehab in Keansburg, NJ is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our team full-time or part-time with every other weekend. You will prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring high standards of sanitation and safety, and follow dietary instructions.

No prior experience required, but food-service knowledge and strong customer-service skills are helpful. You must be 18+, able to read and speak English, and commit to a courteous, resident-focused dining program.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.

• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

Laurel Bay Health and Rehab is a beautiful skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility conveniently located in Keansburg NJ. We are looking for Dietary Aides to work Full Time and Part Time plus every other weekend, to prepare and serve food to residents. You will prepare dishes and ensure good sanitary condition in cooking and dining premises. The Dietary Aide must be capable to prepare dishes following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. Must be 18 years old, competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach. Candidates must be able to read and speak English. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards. Experience is helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities
