Job summary

Three Rivers Midlands is a comprehensive behavioral health facility under Universal Health Services. The role covers all aspects of dining facilities operation, including cooking, serving, and preparing foods, plus dishwashing, cleaning, and inventorying groceries in a hospital setting.

Full-time days, evenings, weekends and holidays are required. ServSafe is preferred, with at least two years’ experience in high-volume food production within a hospital or institutional environment.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a high volume, food production setting, preferably in a hospital or institution setting.
• Must possess knowledge of basic math, read and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to estimate food requirements.
• Ability to disassemble, assemble, operate and clean equipment.
• Ability to interact with all people.

Responsibilities

• The dietary personnel are responsible for all aspects of the dining facilities operation.
• Cook, serve and prepare foods in accordance with guidelines.
• Wash dishes and pots and pans as part of daily tasks.
• Clean the kitchen and the dining room regularly.
• Monitor, inventory, and store groceries to ensure supply and safety.

Three Rivers Midlands is a comprehensive behavioral health facility treating children and adolescents through residential and Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBH). We treat males and females ages 11-18 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses.

The dietary personnel are responsible for all aspects of the dining facilities dining facilities operation and ensuring DHEC and dietary guidelines are being met. Which includes cooking, serving and preparing foods, washing dishes and pots and pans, cleaning the kitchen and the dining room as well as monitoring, inventorying and storing groceries.

Full Time position. Schedule is days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
