Job summary

Luxe at Wellington Rehabilitation Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service for patients and residents. You will work with the dietary staff to plan, cook, and serve meals while following sanitation and safety guidelines.

The role requires high school diploma, teamwork, good communication, and ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds. Evening and weekend availability preferred with daily pay option.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and retrieval procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the serving of meals and beverages to residents, patients, and guests
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following proper sanitation and safety guidelines
• Assist in the delivery and retrieval of food carts, plates, and utensils
• Monitor and report food inventory levels and supplies to the Head Cook or Director
• Attend and participate in regular training and education on dietary requirements and changes

Our company is seeking a seeking a energetic and motivated Dietary Aide to join our growing team of professionals!

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and delivery of meals to patients, residents, and guests within a healthcare or nursing facility. This position will collaborate with the dietary staff in planning, cooking, and serving meals, ensure appropriate food handling, storage, and retrieval procedures are followed, and maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
