Job summary

Elevate Care Waukegan is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team and help ensure residents receive high-quality nutrition. You will assist with meal service, maintain cleanliness, and support the dietary team to meet dietary needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary or food service (preferred).
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service – help prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents based on dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization – ensure food preparation and dining areas are clean and sanitized.
• Support dietary team – assist in food preparation, portioning, and delivery to ensure timely meal service.
• Assist with special diets – provide support for residents with special dietary needs and preferences, such as low-sodium, low-sugar, or vegetarian diets.
• Stock and maintain supplies – assist with inventory management and ensure kitchen supplies are replenished as needed.
• Work closely with residents – offer friendly service and ensure resident satisfaction with meals.
