Position Summary:

Dietary aides prepare and serve food based on the nutritional needs of patients. They ensure the timely preparation and delivery of nutritious, attractive meals and supplements to residents according to physician’s orders and in compliance with Federal, State, and Company requirements. They maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.

• Shifts: AM (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM), PM (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma with 1-2 years of experience in food handling, nutritional care, or hospitality service.
• Food handler’s permit required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients and visitors.
• Verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as per state law and company policy.

Skills:

• Physical dexterity and ability to lift, pull, push, and bend.
• Hygienic practices, including frequent handwashing and maintaining a tidy appearance.
• Time management skills to adhere to meal schedules.
• Food handling experience and knowledge of safety regulations.
