Job summary

Bethany-St Joseph Corp is hiring part-time Dietary Aides for the PM shift at Vernon Manor in Viroqua, WI. Responsibilities include supporting food service, assisting with meals, and providing friendly resident care while upholding food safety standards.

Previous experience in Assisted Living or long-term care food service is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Competitive benefits are available to eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping foods safe, using time and temperature control for safety guidelines.
• Follows resident’s diet orders and preferences when serving meals.
• Cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces and work area routinely, ensuring the highest degree of sanitation.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, tableware, glasses, and other kitchen and dining room equipment/surfaces and ensures they are stored in a sanitary and orderly fashion.
• May serve meals in the dining room or to resident rooms or at Assisted Living Facility.

Dietary Aides are responsible for preparing beverages, cleaning and washing dishes, assisting with the serving of meals, and providing customer service to our residents, while following food safety requirements.

We have part-time openings available on the PM shift at our Viroqua location.
