Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, service, and cleanup for patients and staff in the nursing center. Evening shift 3pm - 7:30pm with responsibilities as listed.

You will assist cooks, prepare nourishments, desserts, salads, and beverages, follow production sheets, and maintain sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long‑term care preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director.
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures.
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages.
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate
