Our dietary aides often come to Autumn Woods with little to no experience but a huge heart for serving the elderly population. Our dietary aides have the esteemed honor of building relationships with our residents and taking care of one of their favorite activities and very basic needs.
Dietary aides serve resident meals and snacks on a daily basis. Close attention to detail is paramount to our food service team as they verify that the proper food is served to the right resident – looking out for allergies, special needs, and requests. If you have been a waiter or waitress in the food service industry this may be right fit for you!
Other duties that our dietary aides assist with are delivering meals to resident rooms or tables timely, clearing trays, taking part in cleaning routines, reading meal tickets and other duties as assigned.
