A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIETARY AIDE

As a Dietary Aide, you play a vital role in our community. You assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, setting up trays, preparing snack items, and food requests for special events. You deliver high-quality customer service by distributing food according to dietary guidelines and individual resident meal plans, ensuring the quality and temperature of food items. You also deliver and retrieve trays during meal times, wash dishes, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.

You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and build positive relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues. Your friendly demeanor and dedication make a significant difference in residents' lives, making you a great fit for this role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow instructions. No experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties and communicate effectively.
• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.
