Job summary

The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Southampton, NY is seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our food service team. You will help deliver meals, prepare trays, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment while ensuring residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals.

Responsibilities include assisting with tray assembly and serving, following menus and portion guidelines, and adhering to sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior food service, dietary, kitchen, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and serving methods.
• Knowledge of food sanitation and safety practices.
• Ability to follow menus, portion guidelines, and dietary instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dietary department, kitchen, and equipment.
• Assist with daily kitchen and food service duties as assigned.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and facility policies.
• Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure timely meal service.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff.

Position: Dietary Aide 6 am - 2 pm and 12 pm - 8 pm
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21.38 per hour
