Summary

As a Dietary Aide at Riverdale Health Care Center, you will assist in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Serve meals that are palatable and visually appealing.
2. Assist in serving meals promptly and as needed.
3. Serve food according to established portion control procedures.
4. Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, including cleaning work tables, refrigerators, and freezers.
5. Sweep and mop floors as directed.
6. Handle soiled utensils and return clean utensils to proper storage.
7. Wash and clean utensils as instructed.
8. Manage garbage disposal and keep work areas clean and hazard-free.
9. Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed.
10. Assist cooks in meal preparation.
11. Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
12. Obtain food supplies for upcoming meals.
13. Check diet trays before distribution.
14. Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
15. Serve food in dining rooms as instructed.
16. Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures, ensuring utensils are available for the next meal.
17. Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed.

Work Hours and Benefits

This is a full-time position with shifts available Monday through Friday, every other weekend, offering a competitive wage and benefits package. We provide a family-friendly work environment.
