Job summary

Ghent Assisted Living is seeking a part-time dietary aide to join our cafeteria team. The role offers a PT shift with a new rate of $16.75 per hour and premium compensation, along with a solid benefits package.

You will assist cooks, help prepare and serve meals, follow long-term care regulations, and maintain dining room setup and cleaning schedules. Previous dietary service experience is preferred, and opportunities for professional growth are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals.
• Follow Federal, State and local long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Set dining rooms for resident service.
• Serve meals.
• Stock pantry and cupboards with dishware and food items as per par levels.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dietary Supervisor.
