Alto Walden Woods in Plant City, FL is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide to join the dining team. The role offers consistent afternoon hours, ending by 6:30pm, with training provided from day one.

No prior experience is required; we will teach you everything you need to know. You will support meal service, maintain a clean dining room, and work closely with a friendly team to create a welcoming dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and pass a background screening.
• Warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoys being around people.
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
• No experience required — we will train you!
• Food serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals with warmth, care, and attention to every resident's needs.
• Support a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout every shift.
• Assist with table setup, meal service, and dining room cleanup.
• Be a dependable, friendly presence that makes every meal feel special.
• Work as part of a close-knit team that takes pride in the dining experience.
• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Wipe down and sanitize chairs, windows, floors, and work areas.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must havepositive Criminal Background Screening.

• Food serving experience preferred.
