Job summary

Yona Eagle seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents, visitors, and coworkers with warm hospitality in a clean, friendly dining environment. You will contribute to personal growth and pride in each employee while delivering meals and services with a smile.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, assisting in meal prep under supervision, delivering trays, cleaning stations, stocking ingredients, and supporting menu planning and kitchen upkeep. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as dietary aide.
• 2+ years of customer service is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Able to operate cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food services certification is a plus.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

Skills

Proven experience as dietary aide

Customer service experience helpful

Sanitation and safety knowledge

Cookware and appliance operation

Friendly with good communication

Good physical condition and stamina

High school diploma or equivalent

Criminal background check required
