Job summary

Yona Eagle in Wisconsin is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our team and help provide warm hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers.

You will set dining areas, assist with meals under dietary manager, and help keep kitchens clean while following safety guidelines. A high school diploma and background check are required; experience in customer service is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms.
• Clear dining areas and collect dishes after meals.
• Maintain food stations and sanitize equipment.
• Stock ingredients and assist with menu planning and expenses.
• Assist in kitchen equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc
• Discard leftovers and take out garbageClean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dietary aide
• Further experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
• Must provide a criminal background check
