Job summary

Responsibilities include food handling, adhering to diet orders, dishwashing when needed, and performing additional duties as assigned. A minimum of high school education is required, with preference for prior food prep experience in skilled nursing settings and a food handler’s permit.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, high school education.
• Experience in food prep and service preferred.
• Experiences in food prep and service within a skilled nursing / term care facility strongly preferred
• Food handler’s permit preferred
• Superior customer service skills required

Ayden Healthcare of Toledois currently seeking a Culinary Services Assistant

Position Summary of the Culinary Services Aide:

Assists in the preparation and/ or service of meals/ food for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Culinary Director. They serve food and snacks according to the planned menu/spreadsheet and the patient’s/resident's food preferences and diet order.

Responsibilities & Duties of the Culinary Services Aide:

• Using proper food handling/ safety techniques and is of proper quantity

• Completed on time as scheduled, and is in accordance with the menu & residents’ diet order

• Wash dishes, etc. when necessary or when instructed to do so by the Culinary Director.

• May perform other duties as assigned by the Culinary Director when necessary.
