Job summary

HHS invites a compassionate Dietary Aide to join the McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center dietary team. You will assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals promptly, providing warm service and accuracy in a healthcare setting.

Part-time positions are available with Day/Evening/Night shifts. The wage is 20.86 USD per hour. A background check, drug screen, and proof of U.S. employment eligibility are required; vaccination requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a hospital setting.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming in uniform.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver meals to patients according to menu and diet orders.
• Assist dietary team with meal preparation and service.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to every patient.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

Job Description

We're looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Dietary Aide
• Wage: $20.86/hour
• Part-time positions available

• Location: McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
