The Village at Gleannloch Farms is seeking a warm and caring Dietary Aide to prepare and serve therapeutic diet trays for health center residents. You will join a unified team delivering meals with empathy and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Maintains station equipment and a clean, sanitary work area.
• Adheres to personal hygiene and dress code; participates in trainings.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus. Our team members provide extraordinary care and hold each other accountable.

Status: Full-Time

• Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
• Serves meals in the health center.
• Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal.
• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Transports all required nonfood items to and from the health center.
• Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred.
• Can understand measurements and conversions.
