Job summary

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (a Caldera Care facility) is seeking staff for dietary support. You will assist the cook in preparing appetizing meal trays and ensure proper serving and sanitation practices in a facility that emphasizes high standards of care.

Candidates must have a High School diploma, a current Food Handlers Card, and strong English communication skills, with weekend availability for FT/PT roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Aid the cook in preparing trays that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Ensure that appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with the resident's meal tray
• Review of tray card to assure that current food information is consistent with food served
• Follow posted cleaning schedule utilizing proper sanitation and cleaning methods
• Follow infection control and safety measures
• Other duties as assigned by Cook or Dietary Manager

Pay Range: $17.13-$19 DOE

FT/PT: Must be available weekends
