Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support our dining services team serving residents in the evenings. This part‑time role focuses on safe, nutritious meals delivered in a clean, welcoming environment while supporting resident comfort and well‑being.

You will assist in serving meals, keep kitchen and dining areas tidy, deliver carts and trays, help with plating and setup, and follow sanitation and safety guidelines. Flexible evening/weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food service preferred, but training is available.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food handling, storage, and sanitation.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents, patients, and guests.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas following sanitation and safety standards.
• Deliver and retrieve meal carts, trays, plates, and utensils in a respectful and timely manner.
• Support meal preparation, plating, and kitchen organization as needed.
• Report supply needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing training related to dietary procedures and resident needs.
• Follow all food handling, infection control, and safety guidelines.
