Job description

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Dietary Aide, Union to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary: The Dietary Aide performs a variety of patient food service, cafeteria food service, dish room duties, catering tasks, and other related responsibilities. The Dietary Aide, Union, is expected to provide exceptional customer service.

Work Schedule: FTE 0.7, 28 hours weekly, with variable start times, days, and every other weekend.

Preferred Qualifications: High school education or equivalent preferred, but not required. Food service experience is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively via written and spoken word. Must be able to perform simple cash transactions. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure patient safety. ServSafe certification is a plus and will be offered after hire.
