An established industry player in healthcare is looking for dedicated food service staff to ensure safe food handling and positive interactions with patients. This role involves preparing and serving meals, maintaining high sanitation standards, and working collaboratively with a team. Responsible for safe food handling during preparation and service, interacting positively within a team environment by assisting coworkers with scheduled work demands. Will work with various diets, equipment cleaners, and sanitizers. Performs cleaning duties after meals.
12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, considered full-time.
Ability to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary. Work locations include all sites within Good Samaritan Hospital Association.
Work in a well-lit, warm, and humid kitchen environment, with contact with dietary staff, nursing staff, residents, and families. Scheduled for weekend shifts and some holidays.
Requires corrected vision, normal hearing, manual dexterity, and full body mobility. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push carts weighing 100-200 pounds, and perform frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. Work under stressful conditions with a rapid workflow.
