Job summary

Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring meals meet dietary guidelines and that dining areas stay clean and sanitary.

You will work 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday with some weekend shifts, at our Elizabethtown, PA facility, providing courteous service to residents and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience with seniors, preferably in Long Term Care.
• Good communication skills and ability to read.
• Previous experience in a dietary or food service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols in food handling.
