Job summary

Avantara Pierre is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing team. Shifts are 6am–2:30pm or 1pm–8pm, with every other weekend and holiday required.

You will assist residents with meals, ensure dietary restrictions are followed, and help keep the kitchen clean and safe for residents. We offer room for growth and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 11th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferred.
• Willingness to be trained and grow in role.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals according to dietary needs.
• Record and monitor food temperatures for safety.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and sanitized.
• Support the dietary team to ensure meals are served on time.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensures our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Pierre by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance with their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: At a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
