Job summary

Avantara Pierre is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our Skilled Nursing team. You will assist residents with meal service, ensure dietary needs are met, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment.

Shifts are 6am-2:30pm or 1pm-8pm with every other weekend and holiday required; prior skilled nursing foodservice experience preferred; education is minimal.

Qualifications

• Eleventh grade education minimum.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferred.
• Willing to work 6am-2:30pm or 1pm-8pm shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal service and dietary items.
• Record temperatures to ensure food safety.
• Keep kitchen and dietary equipment clean and sanitized.

Role Summary

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensures our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Pierre by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance with their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Qualifications

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: At a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
