A leading healthcare provider in Philadelphia is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals to patients and staff. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and ensuring dietary needs are met. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Located on a 27-acre wooded campus, Fairmount Behavioral Health System provides a peaceful, therapeutic environment for patients and families. It is a major regional resource for children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, behavioral, alcohol, and drug dependency issues. The campus borders Fairmount Park in Philadelphia's Roxborough section. As a leading provider of alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs, Fairmount is the preferred choice for specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our team.
The Dietary Aide prepares food and dessert items and serves meals to patients, staff, and visitors courteously, considering dietary needs. The Dietary Aide maintains assigned areas in a clean, orderly, and attractive condition, providing a suitable environment for patients and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures, aligned with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Preferably in food service within a hospital, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
Licensure/Certification: ServSafe certification preferred.
Knowledge: Basic math, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety, and infection control practices preferred.
