Job summary

Brudnick Center for Living is offering a part-time Dietary Aide position in Peabody, MA. The role pays $15.50-$18.75 per hour, based on experience, with two shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, rotating every other weekend.

The successful candidate will assist with meal service, support food preparation, and help maintain a clean dining environment while ensuring residents receive compassionate care and respect for confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.
  • Collaborative team player with ability to follow instructions.
  • Prior dietary experience in hospital or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare dining room and assist with meal service for residents.
  • Support food preparation, assist cooks, check diet trays for accuracy, help with special meals and events.
  • Serve residents and staff with courtesy, professionalism, and compassion while promoting a positive dining environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing, washing, and resetting dining areas per sanitation standards.
  • Protect resident confidentiality and provide compassionate care while supporting dietary needs.

Dietary Aide | Brudnick Center for Living

$15.50 - $18.75 per hour, based on experience.

Part-Time

  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing, washing, and resetting dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards.
  • Protect resident confidentiality and provide kind, compassionate care while supporting residents' dietary needs.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to follow instructions.
  • Prior dietary experience working in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.
