Job summary

Accolade Healthcare in Paxton, IL seeks a Dietary Aide to serve meals to residents, visitors and staff with friendly, professional service. You will assist with food prep, tray assembly, delivery to resident rooms and dining areas, cleaning kitchens and supporting the culinary team.

Responsibilities include preparing trays, checking dates, rotating stock, and maintaining sanitation. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; a Food Handlers Certification will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, placemats.
• Complete food prep for tray line and cooler.
• Puree food as needed.
• Place food and beverage items on trays according to meal requests or physicians' orders.
• Stock carts with ice water and iced tea for lunch.
• Load and deliver cards to various areas of the Facility, including individual resident rooms and group dining rooms
• Complete food prep for the next day.
• Serve lunch on tray line.

Job Summary

As a Dietary Aide at Accolade Healthcare, you will be a key member of the culinary team, responsible for serving food to residents, visitors, and employees in a friendly, professional manner, while providing outstanding customer service. In addition, works with other team members to prep foods, deliver to resident rooms and resident dining, wash dishes, and clean kitchens.

Pay Rate: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour

• Prepare kitchen and dining rooms for the next meal.
• Answer kitchen phone as needed.
• Perform other related work as required or requested.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or the equivalent preferred
• Ability to work with and serve a variety of people is required.
