Job summary

Oak Park Place in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Dietary Aide for a full-time shift from 11am to 7pm, including every other weekend. The role involves preparing and serving meals, following dietary and safety standards, setting up dining areas, and delivering meals to residents.

You will collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses to monitor intake and maintain inventory. Key responsibilities include serving meals, proper food handling, cleaning the dining area, stocking storage areas, and sanitizing

The Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions
• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals
• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area
• Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators
• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils

Requirements

Dietary Aide Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
