Job summary

Elevate Care Northbrook is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs, while ensuring food safety and a clean dining environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in dietary or food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service and portioning based on dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas.
• Support the dietary team with food prep and timely delivery of meals.
• Assist with special diets (e.g., low-sodium, vegetarian) as required.
• Stock and maintain kitchen supplies and inventories.
• Engage with residents to provide friendly service and satisfaction with meals.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist with Meal Service – Help prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents based on their dietary needs.


• Maintain Cleanliness & Organization – Ensure food preparation and dining areas are clean and sanitized at all times.


• Support Dietary Team – Assist in food preparation, portioning, and delivery to ensure timely meal service.


• Assist with Special Diets – Provide support for residents with special dietary needs and preferences, such as low-sodium, low-sugar, or vegetarian diets.


• Stock & Maintain Supplies – Assist with inventory management and ensure kitchen supplies are replenished as needed.


• Work Closely with Residents – Offer friendly service and ensure resident satisfaction with meals.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience in Dietary or Food Service (Preferred).


• Knowledge of Food Safety & Sanitation Guidelines.


• Strong Communication & Teamwork Skills.


• Ability to Lift and Carry Supplies as Needed.
