Position Summary

The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing nutrition by taking resident orders, assembling trays, dipping sides, and delivering food carts. This includes texture-modified and therapeutic diets according to the facility menu. The Dietary Aide must follow proper cleaning procedures in the dining room and kitchen areas according to State and Federal regulations.

Duties

·Report directly to the Healthcare Dining Manager and Healthcare Assistant Dining Manager, with final reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage.

·Communicate effectively with all dining staff, residents, and nursing staff.
