Job summary

Kadima Healthcare in New Wilmington, PA is seeking compassionate Dietary Aides to serve meals to residents, prepare meal trays, and keep the kitchen clean and safe. You will help meet daily dietary needs and work as part of a collaborative dietary team. Ideal candidates have prior dietary aide experience, knowledge of sanitation, and good customer service.

Must be able to stand for long periods and communicate well. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines required.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina (standing for long periods).
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal trays that are appetizing in appearance.
• Deliver meal carts to designated area on time.
• Obtain food supplies for next meal.
• Clean trays/dishes when carts returned.
• Wash dishes.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties.
• Must be able to work independently or in a group setting.

Job Description

Dietary Aides serve meals to our residents, prepare meal trays, and keep our kitchen clean and safe. As part of our Dietary team you will assist in meeting the residents daily dietary needs with every meal served. Dietary Aides must be team players, conscientious, detail oriented, friendly personality, able to stand for long periods of time, with good customer service skills. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards.
