Job summary

Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at New Wilmington seeks compassionate Dietary Aides to serve meals, prepare trays, and keep the kitchen clean and safe. You will assist in meeting residents' daily dietary needs with a friendly, detail-oriented approach.

Shifts include 6:00am - 2:30pm, 10:30am - 6:30pm, and 12:30pm - 8:30pm. We offer medical, dental, vision, PTO, a 401K, and supplemental insurances, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in food services is a plus.
• Experience as a dietary aide preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal trays that are appetizing in appearance.
• Deliver meal carts to designated area on time.
• Obtain food supplies for next meal.
• Clean trays/dishes when carts returned.
• Wash dishes.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties.
• Must be able to work independently or in a group setting.

Job description

Dietary Aides serve meals to our residents, prepare meal trays, and keep our kitchen clean and safe. As part of our Dietary team you will assist in meeting the residents daily dietary needs with every meal served. Dietary Aides must be team players, conscientious, detail oriented, friendly personality, able to stand for long periods of time, with good customer service skills. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards.

• Prepare meal trays that are appetizing in appearance

• Wash dishes


• Assist in daily cleaning duties


• Must be able to work independently or in a group setting

Skills

• Some previous experience as a dietary aide


• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines


• Friendly with good communication skills


• Good physical condition and stamina (standing for long periods of time)

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
