Job summary

HHS is hiring for a hospital dietary team member at Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital in Midtown Nashville. You will assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals promptly, providing friendly service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role includes full-time and part-time opportunities, requires background checks and vaccine considerations, and offers competitive wages with benefits. Applicants must be 18+, work as part of a cohesive team, and maintain high hygiene and safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient trays on time.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health, sanitation, and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Job Description

We're looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!
As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Wage: $18 hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Sencond shift available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: St. Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital (Midtown)
