Part-Time

Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of this position is to perform various tasks related to the preparation, service, and clean-up of meals for residents and staff, in accordance with federal, state, local standards, guidelines, regulations, and Solaris Healthcare's policies.

Job Functions

• Assist the Cook as directed by the Food Service Director.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, stove, refrigerator, freezer, and dining rooms.
• Prepare and label nourishments and deliver them to resident areas.
• Prepare and portion desserts, salads, and other non-entrée foods.
• Follow production sheets and pre-preparation guides.
• Use proper handwashing techniques.
• Complete assigned work tasks.

Education & Experience
