Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide for Murray Calloway County Hospital. You will assist patients with menu selections, deliver meals, and provide excellent service to ensure patient satisfaction. Various shifts (day/evening/night) available, wage $14.00 per hour, and employment includes background checks and eligibility screening.

Full-time and part-time positions are offered in a hospital dietary setting, emphasizing teamwork, hygiene, and customer service in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Physical Requirements
