Speare Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to assemble and deliver meals to patients, maintain cafeteria service, and support kitchen operations. Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and general public.
• Ability to service medical staff and general public in the cafeteria.
• Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff regarding patients' dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food and beverage items for patient tray service.
• Set up, service, cashier, clean up, and sanitize for meal service in the cafeteria.
• Answer telephone and deliver patient trays as needed to outpatient services.
• Take daily inventory and stock items needed in patient unit kitchens.
• Sort, rinse, load, wash, unload, stack, and put away dishes.
• Perform routine cleaning duties as assigned.
• Assist cooks with minor food prep duties and/or service as needed.
