Job description

Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital is looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team at this brand new, state of the art facility offering a full continuum of inpatient behavioral health services for adult patients. The 96-bed hospital is located on a beautiful 25-acre site in Battle Creek and will serve patients throughout the southwest Michigan region.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

Routine food preparation and delivery of hot and cold foods within the hospital.

  • Perform routine tasks related to clean-up and sanitation of the kitchen, dining, or serving areas.
  • Properly prepare, serve, and store food in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
  • Prepare food according to standardized recipes and approved menus.
  • Understand and apply the sanitation procedures needed to provide a safe and healthy environment.
  • Adhere to menu compliance, special diet compliance, and dietary non-compliance, concern, or complaint of patients to the dietician, supervisor, or manager.
