Job summary

Towne Centre Assisted Living is seeking a server to assist in dining services for residents and guests in Merrillville, Indiana. The role involves preparing and delivering meals, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting a positive dining experience.

You will work 2 PM to 7 PM, interact with residents professionally, and follow all safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Prior senior living experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Able to work 2 PM - 7 PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.

As a Server, you will perform a variety of food service functions and maintain clean and sanitary conditions of the service area, facilities and equipment. This position must work effectively with team members in ensuring that work is accomplished in a timely, effective, and safe manner. yOU MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO 2 PM TO 7 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Serve meals in a professional manner, demonstrating a genuine concern to please residents and guests.
• Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
• Ensure that residents and guests receive high quality food in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professional behavior, and practice good personal hygiene.
• Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed.
• Tactfully and professionally, handle resident concerns and complaints.
• Follow all Dining Services Standards of service.

Qualifications:

• Prior senior living experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service and consistently display an attitude, which fosters a teamwork environment.
