Nestled in a wooded retreat on the north side of Lake Pontchartrain, we are just east of the causeway and 45 minutes from New Orleans. We provide long- and short-term behavioral health care to adults and adolescents, including acute detox and substance abuse care.

Coordinates the preparation and service of all meals, snacks, and supplies to clients & units served, for Northlake Behavioral Health System. Assists in general duties in the kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning, taking out trash, washing dishes, organizing storage, putting away grocery orders, and serving patients, employees, and visitors. Works closely with other dietary staff and reports to the Director of Dietary/RDN Supervisor. Assists in meal delivery daily.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, and move about in the work area. Must be able to finger, grasp, and feel objects. Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers. Work is medium in nature, requiring occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force and frequent exertion of 20 pounds, with up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
