Job summary

Birmingham Green in Manassas, VA is hiring a Dietary Aide for full-time shifts. You will assist in meal preparation, deliver and collect meal carts, and serve residents in a compassionate, safe environment.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and weekend availability; experience in institutional food service is preferred. We offer competitive rates, weekend differential, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• We have an amazing opportunity for Dietary Aides that can:
• Prepare meal trays for residents and may assist in preparation of food.
• Deliver and retrieve meal carts to and from the neighborhoods.
• Serve food on the neighborhoods.
• Must be able to lift without restrictions.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills/Education

Required:

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
• Able to work weekends

Preferred:

• Previous experience in an institutional food setting
• Exposure to the senior population
• Desire to serve and care for the senior population
