Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a dining services aide to support meal preparation, service, and cleanup for patients and staff at the nursing center and related events.

You will follow center procedures, assist the cook, prepare nourishments, portion desserts and beverages, set tables, serve trays, and maintain a clean dining area while communicating with patients.

Qualifications

• Performs a variety of tasks usually not requiring cooking skills in the preparation, service, and clean up for meals served to patients and staff.
• Assists cook as directed by the food service director.
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures.
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entre foods into dishes; pours beverages.
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate.

• Pushes food carts to appropriate patient care areas
• Communicates with patients during meal times when serving in dining areas
