Avenues At Litchfield is seeking a Dietary Aide to support food service and dining operations on site. You will assist with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining sanitary food preparation areas in accordance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include following planned menus, adhering to special diet orders, and delivering snacks as directed to residents. The role emphasizes patience, tact, and a cheerful, enthusiastic attitude while supporting residents throughout the day.

Job Summary:

The Dietary Aide is responsible for aiding all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Also ensure food, etc., is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
