Job summary

SLP Operations in a long-term care setting is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation, meal service, and the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas under the supervision of the Dietary Manager.

You will follow portion control procedures, sanitize work areas, verify meal trays, and ensure proper storage of food and supplies while adhering to safety standards and resident rights.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare food service preferred.
• Must interact positively with residents, families, and regulatory agencies; collaborate with employees at all levels.
• Must maintain consistent attendance and be willing to work long or irregular hours, often under pressure.
• Must comply with local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Must perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities
